His latest book, <em id=\"e-mney9brq-w6gfzw2\">Another World: The Drama Behind Daytime TV\u2019s Only 90-Minute Soap<\/em>, will be released this September.Lisanti is the author of several acclaimed works on film and television history, including <em id=\"e-mney9brq-nbqx3bi\">Texas: An Oral History of Daytime TV\u2019s Answer to Dallas<\/em> (BearManor Media); <em id=\"e-mney9brq-280hsci\">Dueling Harlows: The Race to Bring the Actress\u2019s Life to the Silver Screen<\/em> (McFarland &amp; Company); and <em id=\"e-mney9brq-3axiibz\">Ryan\u2019s Hope: An Oral History of Daytime\u2019s Groundbreaking Soap<\/em> (Citadel Press\/Kensington Books).In 2010, he co-authored the memoir <em id=\"e-mney9brq-ehnhfsn\">Trippin\u2019 with Terry Southern: What I Think I Remember<\/em> with former actress Gail Gerber. The book was honored with the Independent Publisher Book Award Silver Medal for Best Memoir.A frequent media guest, Lisanti has appeared on numerous television programs, including PBS\u2019s <em id=\"e-mney9brq-4mykadg\">Steve Beverly\u2019s TV Classics<\/em>, <em id=\"e-mney9brq-1prqbry\">The Playboy Murders<\/em>, and Turner Classic Movies, where he co-hosted a week of 1960s beach films with Ben Mankiewicz.
