Hung out with cool McFarland and Co. marketing guy <strong>Adam<\/strong>.  Got to meet and chat with <strong>George Chakiris <\/strong>(Bernardo of <em>West Side Story<\/em>) who looks absolutely great.  He is 70 but looks 50!  He is the only celebrity signed photo that I purchased though I came close to buying a pic from <strong>Laurene Landon <\/strong>of <em>All the Marbles<\/em> fame.  She was very movie star glamorous all in lavendar. But she could not out diva <strong>Miss Julie Newmar <\/strong>who always arrived late and left early.  Suffice it to say, she had a line of autograph seekers each day and I was only able to ogle her from afar.<\/p>\n<p>One of the high points was walking into the Virgin Megastore on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood and seeing my books on display.  Being the ham that I am I had my loyal boyfriend Ern snap a pic (<em>see above<\/em>). Note the book <em>Italian Horror Film Directors <\/em>is by my good friend <strong>Louis Paul<\/strong>.
